Re-think your poop! That’s what the Fertile Ground Foundation wants you to do with their Ladies of Manure 2013 Calendar. Which is basically a calendar of sexy ladies wearing next to nothing while covered in all manner of excrement, mud, manure, and earth. Grossed out yet? Well, you shouldn’t be. It’s not as bad as you imagine.
In a fundraising effort, the Fertile Ground Foundation turned to Kickstarter (like all the cool Peepz do these days) to spread the word about the benefits of composting:
Fertile Earth Foundation is an environmental nonprofit based in Miami mostly known for our composting initiatives. We’ve been teaching people to rethink their waste for over 4 years. For those of you who don’t know what composting is, it’s basically turning organic waste into rich fertile soil. Organic waste is stuff like kitchen scraps, newspaper, yard trimmings, manure, even your very own poop! Anything that is not plastic, metal, or glass can be composted.
The idea for a sexy poop calendar came to them last year when a volunteer asked: “How did we get so far removed from our poop?” In an effort to answer that question the Ladies of Manure 2013 Calendar was born, which features lovely ladies covered in manure, as well as timely tips on how to compost kitchen scraps, making your own veggie broth, and telling the difference between worm, fish, and human poop.
Finally, a calendar for both the earth lover and poop lover alike!
