Riight, so Terry Richardson took some topless pictures of models/artists/musicians (the only one I recognize is Brooke Candy) for a 2014 calendar with Diesel and possibly Playboy. I’m finding the whole thing really confusing. Is it Diesel the clothing company? Because this really doesn’t seem to jive with their whole brand.
Aaaand with all the playboy bunnies floating around the tits, I’m thinking this is a Playboy, Diesel, and Terry Richardson collab, but that seems weird to me, and when I google the damn thing to find answers all anyone is talking about is ‘that Terry Richardson what a lucky guy’.
So, yeah, I can offer you zilch information about this calendar and who cares, right? No one else seems to, so I might as well focus on the Terry Richardson what a lucky guy aspect.
Actually, the dude is a well known perv (and not the good kind if your listen to gossip) and most people are kind of tired with his whole shtick, but there’s no denying the way he has influenced a generation of photographers with the stark white background and all the other photog crap I can’t write about, because I have no idea what I’m talking about.
I can talk boobs, however, and Uncle Bad Touch Terry known how to take nice pictures of boobs. He wins when it comes to boobs. He’s a boob winner. He wins boobs so much he has probably touched every single boob in LA and in parts of the East Coast.
This calendar is weird. Not really my aesthetic at all, but it’s kind of fun. Almost childish in a way. Definitely playful. And there are the boobs, so there’s that to consider. And once considered it’s hard not to give this calendar two thumbs up.
