Gigi Hadid is a fairly new up and coming model. On top of being one of the rookies in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue she’s done a handful of sexy photoshoots in the last few months. Remember the name, because you’re sure to hear it again. Gigi is a Kate Upton look-a-like with a more refined (err exotic) features. Her curly big hair and curves are sure to make her a favorite among fashion porn connoisseurs.
Hadid is also filthy rich. She’s an heiress or something like that; set to inherit more money than Paris Hilton can even dream of. Add to that her impressive silhouette (seriously, the shape of her body is insanely beautiful) and I’m just a smidge jealous. Of the money. Oh, the things I would do if I was an heiress…
To top it off, Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid Foster is one of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yawn, I couldn’t care less about that show. It does paint an interesting picture of Gigi’s upbringing though. No offense to any or all reality TV junkies, but I would have hated growing up with a mother who was in the public eye. Life is hard enough without turning into toxic sewage for the public consumption of others.
Congrats to Yolanda Hadid (now Yolanda Hadid Foster) and Mohamed Hadid for mixing their DNA. Without a doubt, I can say they at least got one thing right. Amen to that.
