ESPN’s 2013 Body Issue is out! To be honest I have no idea if this is a yearly thing or not, and if it is a yearly thing, I don’t know if they have a different theme each year – yes, I know I’m too lazy to google it – but whatever ESPN’s thang is, this year they did a photoshoot with naked athletes.
Yes, naked lady athletes. They’ve got bodies to die for. What I really like about the photoshoot on top of the nudity is the fact that most of these ladies were captured in the nude doing what they trained their bodies to do.
We actually get to see those highly trained and powerful bodies doing what they’ve been built to do. It’s really interesting to see how different sports shape different bodies.
I only wish they had included a gymnast, a swimmer, an acrobat, and maybe a few ladies from Le Cirque du Soleil. As for the actual pictures in this photoshoot, the rock climber is truly inspiring. Freestyle rock climbing is impressive enough, but doing it naked it just blow your mind amazing.
