When did our fascination with the offspring of celebrities start? Everywhere I turn these days it seems like the only models and hot nude chicks I see are the daughters of famous Peepz. Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, and on and on the list goes. They’ve all got famous parents and now we seem them all over the place.
Is this trend easily explained with one word: nepotism, or is there’s something deeper going on? Personally, I think it has something to do with with the familiarity of celebrities. We read so much about them and see them so often in magazines, TV shows, and on the Internet, that we start to feel like we know them. There’s something much more intriguing about seeing someone that you know nude than a complete stranger.
You don’t know strangers from Tom, Dick, and Harry, so you’ve never had the chance to wonder what they look like naked, but when it comes to celebrities you’ve often wondered what they look like in the nude. Then when you push that a step further and a magazine publishes naked pictures of a celebrity’s naked daughter, not only is your curiosity being satisfied, but it also feels naughty.
Sure, the daughter – Mick Jagger’s daughter Lizzy Jagger in this case – is a full grown women so their isn’t anything unseemly about it, but it still feels taboo. Like Mick is your lifelong buddy and all of a sudden you’re jerking off to his twenty-something year old daughter. So inappropriate, so hot.
